Ome Banjos are hand crafted in Boulder Colorado by a small dedicated group of workers led by the founder Chuck Ogsbury. Chuck first came on the musical instrument scene by making the ODE banjo, one of the favorite instruments of the folk revival era of the 1960's.

Since these banjos are personally crafted in a small shop setting there is about a 10-12 month lead time to obtain one- but good news- we have several build slots available and several on order, as well as a great selection of used Ome banjos.We also have access to some limited edition very fancy models direct from Ome if you are interested.
